Black Mesa Incident [PART FOUR]

Image
A  laser burns through the broken machinery and drew a black and burned line across the wall, almost hitting Dr. Gordon Freeman. Gordon had to be very careful, because the laser could easily burn through him and slice him in half. He crouched under the laser and saw an area where the laser could not go to. Gordon briefly looked up, and took his chance when the coast was clear. In the area was a glass door that could only open with an eye scanner. Next to the door was the corpse of a blue shift guard. Gordon out two and two together, and knew what to do. Gordon grabbed the guard and put his face up to the scanner. Despite him not being alive, the scanner could still recognize the eyes. But unfortunately, the scanner let out an electric fuzz, and it broke. Gordon, annoyed, kicked the scanner. But when he turned around, he saw a crowbar  just sitting in the corner. Gordon grabbed the crowbar and hit the glass door with it. The glass broke and shattered in two hits. Gordon ...

Black Mesa Incident [PART THREE]

A fter the Resonance Cascade (which is a mix of scientific, disrupting, and physically dangerous conundrums) and after Dr. Gordon Freeman left the test chamber, he now had to survive the results of the Resonance Cascade. Gordon was blocked by a door that could only open if you put your eyes on a scanner. If it recognizes your eyes, it will let you in. Unfortunately, none of the doors had Gordon's eyes memorized. Luckily, though, the electric zaps from the spectrometer fiddled with the electricity, so the door opened and closed and opened and closed over and over again due to messed up wires. Gordon went in a hallway with a small lift at the end of it. He went on the lift and it took him to the Test Balcony Watch. As soon as Gordon stepped off the lift, the lift broke and fell due to electricity problems. He made a sigh of relief and nervously proceeded. He saw Dr. Harrison, with his foot crushed , crawling on the floor, bleeding. He said, "G-Gordon... you must get out of here....

I t was time. Dr. Gordon Freeman stepped into the test chamber, greeted by the anti-mass spectrometer (the machine that will open the Xen portal.) Gordon spotted a big window up above, and behind it was Dr. Griffiths, giving Gordon a thumbs up. The intercom turned on, followed by the voice of Dr. Harrison, "*Ahem!* Alright. Everything... seems to be in order- yes. Yes. Everything is set and ready to go. Gordon, I'm going to need you to go to that balcony up there, and just wait for my word." Gordon did as he was told. He saw a ladder leading to the metal balcony, with gadgets, gizmos, and a computer screen on it. Gordon climbed up the ladder to the computer. Dr. Harrison chimed in again, "Okay. Now, there is a red button on the keyboard in front of you, Doctor. Just press it when the hatch opens." The red button had a hatch on it, blocking anyone from pressing it. The hatch gave the impression that you aren't supposed to press it... yet, at least. The hatc...

G ordon Freeman stepped out of the trolley, and it was a special day in the Black Mesa Industries. He was greeted by a Blue Shift Security Guard Barney Calhoun. "Good morning, Dr. Freeman. Today's the day isn't it," said Barney. Gordon didn't say a word. "Today's the day the scientists test out the giant Xen crystal's portal opening, Gordon." Gordon still didn't say a word. He wasn't much of a talker. Actually, he wasn't much of a talker at ALL. Somehow, people still understood him. Barney opened the gates to the facility, and Gordon went in. Dr. Isaac Kleiner was watching another Blue Shift Guard work on the computer. "Mornin', Gordon," said the Blue Shift Guard. Gordon waved at him and walked off. He heard Dr. Kleiner say, "Today's the day that Freeman tests whether our giant Xen crystal actually opens up a portal to another dimension! I hope he does well." Then the Blue Shift Guard said, "Yes. Gordo...
