Zaid's Dystopia (REVIEW)

Summary:

Zaid's Dytopia was about a city being under complete surveillance by the government, using robot tracker birds; birds that have cameras for heads. They recharge by sitting on cables outside (which was my favourite part). They go to your windows and follow you around so they can monitor everything you're doing.

Commendation:

Creativity was on-point, there were a lot of details about the tracker bird, to let us know how the robot birds actually work. A major creativity point was mixing real-life things with fictional things, just like how real birds sit on wires or cables. The robot ones sit on it so they can recharge.

The creativity also had sci-fi in it (my favorite genre). It makes you think, who created them? Scientists? Did they create it for the government? Or did the government itSELF create them? And for tracker birds to circle around an entire city, how did they have TIME to make all of them? And are they still making them?

Some subheadings were implemented, in order to help us know a little bit of what we are about to hear or read.

Zaid spoke clearly and expressively, and I was able to follow along with ease.

The images were relevant and clear, so we can get a visual look of what he was telling us (e.g. the image of the tracker bird helped us know what it really looked like).

The title, "THE TRACKER" made his Dystopia mysterious and interesting. The caps also helped with that.

The animations and transitions from one slide to another in Powerpoint gave his presentation more fun and liveliness.

Recommendation:

I recommend you use more headings, as not all new paragraphs had them. And try to make more eye contact, use more emphasism in your body language, and speak in a tone to keep your presentation more lively. On one of the slides, the text blended in with the background. There are three solutions for this:

1. You could change the font color.

2. You could change the text location to a place where the background color isn't similar to the font color.

3. Maybe try to change the background.

Conclusion:

Overall, and in conclusion, the presentation was really creative. I enjoyed it thouroughly especially because there was a lot of sci-fi in it. In fact, it gave me an idea for a movie/story! The idea of robotic bird tracker drones owned by the government and are watching the whole city is just BRILLIANT! Well done, Zaid!
