Rainbow Friends Lore
Today I will be explaining the
RAINBOW FRIENDS LORE
It all started in 1974, when teenage Oswald D. Davis had thought of a great way of making money. He loved watching cartoons, and loved going to kids' resturants that had mascots, such as Chuck E Cheese. He thought, "Why not make money by opening up a place where kids can just hang out with families and friends and have lots of fun?"
That was an idea Oswald was interested in for a long time. In mid 1984, Oswald had thought of the name for his place: Rainbow Funtime Playplace. The characters/mascots would be rainbow-colored, despite one of them being purple. The Rainbow Funtime Playplace was actually an attraction, where families and friends could explore and play.
In 1987, Oswald made money by working as a janitor at a school, and he made enough money to open a business himself. And that of course was the attraction, Rainbow Funtime Playplace.
Even with all that, Oswald would of course not be able to run a business alone. His best friend, Trenton L. Samson, was made Co-Founder of Rainbow Funtime Playplace.
The Rainbow Funtime Playplace had mascots, originally called the Rainbow Buddies, but were renamed by Trenton to the Rainbow Friends. The Rainbow Friends were: Blue, Orange, Green, and Purple. Their names corresponded to their color.
When the attraction was built, they needed mascots, so they hired employees to dress up in costumes as the rainbow friends, which were modelled by Trenton, and sketched by Oswald.
Families began to visit, and after a while many, many people had visited the attraction, at a price, with $7.99 for each person. Even though that is a high price just for one person, it was indeed worth it.
At the end of the tour, the Rainbow Friends would perform an act, and make kids laugh. Those who weren't there could watch it on TV.
In 1990, though, the Rainbow Funtime Playplace began to die down, as it would start to get boring, the rainbow friends weren't realistic enough, and to make matters worse, there was an incident where Green's head fell off, revealing the actor's head. This scared kids, and the employee was fired right on the spot, and Trenton, who modelled Green, got slight chastisement from Oswald, and Trenton apologized.
Very little people visited the attraction, and Oswald and Trenton lost a lot of money, and no money means no running business. They couldn't pay employees, so they quit. The duo were out of money and they were miserable, but one day, Trenton came up with an idea. He suggested that they should make the rainbow friends more... realistic... Oswald liked the idea, and said he would get to work. He left Trenton just like that, leaving him confused and curious of what Oswald would create.
Now, you may think that Oswald could build an animatronic, and put the rainbow friends costumes over the robotic parts, but Oswald didn't want another incident, so he wanted to push realism to its very limits.
Oswald did the most evil and disturbing thing nobody would ever even think of. Oswald built a certain machine. This machine resembles a port-a-potty, and it could only fit one person. Oswald captured a rat so that it could be expiremented on, and the results were, UNfortunately, perfect. Oswald disposed of the rat, and it was time for the big creation.
Oswald went around the city, hanging up posters that said, "HELP WANTED! RAINBOW FUNTIME PLAYPLACE MASCOTS! $100 A WEEK!"
Oswald was lying. Nobody was going to be paid, and nobody was going to dress up as the rainbow friends. They were instead, going to be the rainbow friends.
The first man named Bob Mills called Oswald and said he'd apply for the job. Bob drove over to the facility and met up with Oswald. Oswald said that Bob needed to step into the machine, and lied that it would scan him. Bob went in it, and Oswald pulled the lever...
There were painful screams of Bob as he slowely got burned and electrocuted to death. When the machine finished, the expirement was successful. Bob stepped out of the machine, but he was no longer bob... he was Blue.
Oswald was very happy and his chest swelled with pride and triumph. He had created a living creature, similar to Frankenstein. Despite Bob's poor soul, Oswald couldn't be happier. However, he wasn't done. There still was more rainbow friends that needed to be brought to life.
Oswald tricked a blind man by lying about where he was, and he was transformed to Green. The reason why he chose a blind person is because Green himself is actually blind. He tricked another guy, and he turned to Orange, and it was done. Oswald was so proud of himself for creating living rainbow friends.
Once the rainbow friends were used to their surroundings, the Rainbow Funtime Playplace reopened. A few people visited, and they told other about the new and improved rainbow friends. Suddenly, the whole country visited the attraction, even people from across the world, and Rainbow Funtime Playplace was even more popular than, suprisingly and impressively, Toys Are Us. Oswald and Trenton were making millions every year. The rainbow friends would wait for the exploration and tour time to be over, so it would be time for the show. The rainbow friends performed, and all went well.
But then, in the faitful year of 1997, a boy went onstage mid-performance, in attempt to hug Blue. This was something Oswald, Trenton, and the rainbow friends hadn't really prepared.
The performace suddenly stopped. When Blue saw that a person had touched him, it made him very, very angry. And seeing Blue angry, made Green and Orange furious. They were many screams, as families were literally getting torn apart and eaten alive by the insane and furious rainbow friends. Blood and guts were everywhere, and the rainbow friends ran away.
Oswald and Trenton were very shocked, disturbed, and petrified as they watched this disgusting incident. Trenton grabbed Oswald, and they both fled the scene before the police and paramedics arrived. Rainbow Funtime Playplace wasn't seen for many, many years.
In 2015, Oswald went back to the facility, and turned the power back on. He saw the rainbow friends unconcious, and he cleaned the blood stains up, and he attached a button to Blue's left eye as it fell off when he was on his rampage. Trenton came by and asked Oswald why he would go back and take care of the rainbow friends even after the incident. Oswald said that there was no way he'd just give up his hard work like that. They argued, but Trenton reluctantly agreed to join Oswald with taking care of the rainbow friends.
After months of feeding the friends, Trenton finally snapped. Remembering the horrible and gruesome incident drained him mentally. He snapped at Oswald, threatening him with death.
Oswald, in defense, shoved Trenton in the machine, and switched it on. There were screams, and Trenton was turned into Purple. Purple was an unintentional rainbow friend, and Oswald did it accidentally, in order to defend himself. Oswald, not himself anymore, did not care for his best friend. He just left, never to look back at the machine, again.
Oswald made a red cartoonish mask, and wore it every day, calling himself Red. He fed the rainbow friends by luring buses to the facility, and having the kids in there, eaten. When you play the video game Rainbow Friends, you play as one of the kids in the bus.
